I have an original oil painting (30in x 21in) from the Orgasm Exhibition that I purchased direct from Lenkiewicz around 1980.The stretcher is signed and marked ‘Study of Yana - Orgasm project’When I bought the painting he gave me a copy of the poster(?) black and white 20in x 30in.I also have a few press cuttings from national papers, the earliest is 1988.Noting recent interest in his work and approaching my dotage I thought I might allow someone else the enjoyment of this painting. But, how do I assess its value and what is the best way of selling?

I would suggest that you start by having the painting professionally valued. If you are local to Plymouth, New Street Gallery or Somerville Gallery should be able to help. The optimal way of selling will very much depend on what they have to say about your painting. Basically, it all depends upon how good/significant your piece is.
