The idea of some internet sicko stalking Lenkos ex-models is brilliant:You're my sinnerYou're my dinnerMy little puppet, let's pretendYou're the cure to my afflictionMy addiction to the end.You know what they always sayYou trap, you kill, you eatThat's what a good spider does.Along came a SpiderCrept up beside her....You can't beat a bit of Alice Cooper. Jojo should write a script. 😉

Well ahead of an official announcement I have it on very good authority that The South West Image Bank are very definitely about to occupy 25, The Parade. In fact there is a construction team already at work retrofitting the building back to the Image Bank's specification after previous changes made for the planned occupation by the TLF.Sad news but pretty much expected after all went quiet. Let's hope a suitable local premises can be found as an alternative.

What a shame. But many thanks for the info. I was planning on a trip to Plymouth in the summer in the hope that something might have been arranged but thats looking unlikely. What is the condition of the Elizabethan mural? i'm guessing theres very little chance that will be rescued? i'd quite like one last look at that before it's painted over.

The Elizabethan mural is in a very sorry state at the moment. There is a small portion at the bottom right hand corner which has weathered better due to being behind bushes for much of the year but much of the remainder is greying and flaking off.

Have to say, I'm impressed with what I've seen of the SWIB. An independent archive that has successfully attracted HLF funding, twice in fact, along with other community grants, and committed to making its holdings available to all (indeed, it actively engages audiences). It employs a full-time archivist with a track record, as well as an outreach officer, and so far has over 30 committed volunteers to assist with its activities.TLF, surely this is what you should be aspiring towards?
