Reference this fire, which I agree was so sad, does anyone have images of two of the paintings lost. These are 'The Painter with Mary at Piermasters Restaurant' and the 'Study of Zelda Hill'.

I'm impressed Dave. I thought I was pretty good at finding works coming up for auction, but over 4 months in advance. I can't match that. Incidently there are two more coming up for at auction next month.Christies, South Kensington - 6th December 2007 - Lot no. 0123 - Woman on a bedBonhams, Bath - 10th December 2007 - Lot no. 236 - Portrait of Lucy Perryman

I know this is unconnected with the thread started here, but I have a question regarding the image shown 'Death with Jane and the Black Coat'. I recently saw this painting offered for sale on the website of Eleys Auctions in Lincs. and on their site the image was reversed. Also it was advertised with the title 'Monica, The Painters Coat and Skeleton'. Can anyone confirm which is correct?ThanksEder

Regarding this sale, according to Lyon & Turnbull website none of the paintings sold. Alongside each lot a figure was shown – I assume the highest bid received.Lot No. 129
